A delegation led by Mursal Rustamov, Chairman of the Board of ATIB, visited Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC, a member of the Association.

On December 4, 2025, a delegation led by Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye Business Association, Mursal Rustamov, visited the Association’s member, Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC.

The guests were received by Chairman of the Bank’s Board Mete Şamil Öztürk and Board Member, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Sales and Marketing, Sinan Agırbas.

Speaking about ATIB’s activities and prospective projects, Mursel Rustamov stated that the Association’s current objective is to support the President’s policy aimed at increasing investments in Azerbaijan, particularly in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as expanding trade turnover with Türkiye. In this context, he noted that during meetings with businesspeople and representatives of chambers of commerce and industry from the brotherly country who regularly visit ATIB, guests are provided with detailed information on investment opportunities in the Karabakh region, incentives in industrial zones, raw materials, and export markets, and that appropriate legal support is offered to those wishing to conduct business activities in Azerbaijan.

Emphasizing that the expansion of economic cooperation and the increase of mutual investments between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are of particular interest to Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan in terms of the development of the two brotherly countries and the improvement of public welfare, Mete Şamil Öztürk stated that the Bank is ready to provide financial support to the business activities of entrepreneurs from both countries for this purpose.

Expressing confidence that peoples sharing the same historical and ethnic roots, who today face similar challenges in the region, will rise together in the near future and that Turkic unity will be further strengthened under their leadership, the parties agreed that mutual cooperation in this direction would be effective.
