An academic and practical conference was held at the initiative and organization of the “IMZA” Public Union.

On November 18, 2025, an academic and practical conference titled “Restoration of Azerbaijan’s Territorial Integrity and Sovereignty: International Legal Aspects” was held at the initiative and organization of the “IMZA” Public Union.

The conference was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Azerbaijan, Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, members of parliament, Chairman of the “IMZA” Public Union Xəyyam Əsgərov, former Ambassador of Türkiye and Turkey’s representative of the “IMZA” Public Union Hulusi Kılıç, Professor of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elçin Əhmədov, representatives of the public, as well as Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye Business Association Mürsəl Rüstəmov.

At the beginning, a video presentation on the activities of the “IMZA” Public Union was shown.

In the speeches, it was emphasized that the programs and initiatives implemented by Azerbaijan serve to strengthen state institutions, improve the legal system, and protect citizens’ rights. Special attention was drawn to the compliance of steps taken in the fields of education, infrastructure, and social development with international law and human rights principles.

The conference provided a platform for broad discussions at both national and international levels on the importance of safeguarding Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
