On December 24, 2025, the Azerbaijan–Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB) held a conference titled “Sovereign Azerbaijan – A New Path in Business” dedicated to the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty”.

The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Azerbaijan, Birol Akgün, members of the National Assembly Ziyad Samedzade and Vugar Bayramov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, Orkhan Mammadov, President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, Mammad Musayev, as well as representatives of state bodies, the public, mass media, and businesspeople.

In their speeches, ATIB Chairman Mursel Rustemov, Ambassador Birol Akgün, Chairman of KOBIA Board Orkhan Mammadov, and Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation President Mammad Musayev discussed the social and economic development strategy implemented in the country after the Great Victory of the Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev during the Patriotic War and the 2023 anti-terror operations, the extensive restoration and construction work in the liberated territories, and the contributions of these processes to the sustainable development of the national economy, as well as the new opportunities created for the business environment. The speakers also emphasized strengthening public–private partnerships, developing the non-oil sector, further improving the investment climate, and stimulating business initiatives, highlighting that deepening strategic economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, increasing mutual trade turnover, and expanding joint projects serve the economic interests of both countries.

Later, panel discussions were held on “New Business and Investment Opportunities in the Liberated Territories after the Restoration of Sovereignty” and “Activities in the Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Karabakh”.

As part of the event, songs were performed by the children’s choir “Voice of Victory”, consisting of children of martyrs.
