A delegation led by Taşkın Cerit, Chairman of the Board of the Aydın Young Businessmen Association of Türkiye, was a guest of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye Business Association.

On November 28, 2025, a delegation led by Taşkın Cerit, Chairman of the Board of the Aydın Young Businessmen Association (AYGİAD) of Türkiye, was a guest of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye Business Association.

The guests were received by Deputy Chairman of the Board of ATIB Tahsin Gündem, Board Member Seymur Bünyatov, Association member Eyyub Cavanşir, and Head of the Secretariat Mehriban Asadli.

First, speaking about the history of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye Business Association, Tahsin Gündem noted that expanding cooperation between Turkish businesspeople and local business entities constitutes a priority of the Association’s activities. The Deputy Chairman emphasized that ATIB makes an important contribution not only to the development of a free entrepreneurial environment in Azerbaijan, but also to strengthening economic and trade relations between the two countries.

Providing detailed information about the activities of AYGİAD, Chairman of the Board Taşkın Cerit stated that Turkish businesspeople are interested in expanding business relations with brotherly Azerbaijan and that, for this purpose, they are exploring the market to identify investment opportunities in the country.

After introductions with the members of the delegation, an extensive exchange of views took place on industrial and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan, projects being implemented and planned in the Karabakh economic zone liberated from occupation, incentives envisaged for foreign investors, the current state of business relations between the two countries, as well as other issues of mutual interest.

At the end of the meeting, a commemorative gift on behalf of the Aydın Young Businessmen Association was presented to Deputy Chairman of the Board of ATIB Tahsin Gündem.
