A delegation of the Azerbaijan–Turkey Business Association visited ATIB member “Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan” OJSC.

On January 29, 2026, a delegation of the Azerbaijan–Turkey Business Association (ATIB) visited ATIB member “Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan” OJSC.

The meeting held at the company’s office was attended by Selçuk Demir, Chairman of the Management Board of “Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan” OJSC; Mursal Rustamov, Chairman of the Management Board of ATIB; Tahsin Gundem, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board; Board Members Erdem Ercin, Nigar Alasgarova and Lamiya Bayramova, as well as representatives of the Secretariat.

Speaking about the recent developments in ATIB’s activities, Mursal Rustamov provided detailed information on the opportunities that ATIB membership offers to companies and the existing partnership relations between ATIB and government institutions. He also highly appreciated the support provided by “Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan” OJSC, as an ATIB member, to the initiatives of the Association.

Thanking the Chairman of the ATIB Management Board for his attention and positive views on the partnership, Selçuk Demir noted that one of the Bank’s main objectives is to research and analyze the Turkish population, Turkish businesspeople, as well as current and potential trade relations between Türkiye and the countries where it operates, and to facilitate the development of these relations. In this regard, he emphasized that “Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan” OJSC strives to contribute to the Azerbaijani economy through the implementation of sustainable financial instruments and a reliable cooperation model established with corporate clients.

Afterwards, an exchange of views was held on the Association’s current activities and prospective projects.
