On April 20, a training session on “Occupational Health and Safety and Technical Safety” was organized jointly by the Occupational Safety Center operating under the SLIS of the MLSPP and the Azerbaijan-Turkiye Business Association (ATIB).

On April 20, a training session on “Occupational Health and Safety and Technical Safety” was organized jointly by the Occupational Safety Center operating under the State Labour Inspectorate Service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population and the Azerbaijan-Turkiye Business Association (ATIB).

A total of 25 participants representing 17 enterprises from various sectors took part in the training program.

Participants were provided with detailed information on the current occupational safety legislation, newly approved standards, risk management mechanisms, and the “Zero Accident” concept. It was emphasized that these approaches contribute to minimizing workplace risks and fostering a sustainable safety culture.

It was noted that such training programs, organized in cooperation with local associations and business communities, make a significant contribution to enhancing employers’ responsibility and ensuring the effective implementation of preventive measures.

The training program is expected to continue in subsequent stages and reach a broader audience.

It should be noted that the primary objective of these trainings is to ensure safe and healthy working conditions in enterprises and to enhance knowledge and practical skills in the field of occupational safety.
