A delegation from the Azerbaijan-Turkey Business Association (ATIB) visited the Azerbaijan Representative Office of the Association's member company, “Borusan Makina ve Güç Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.”

On September 2, 2025, a delegation from the Azerbaijan-Turkey Business Association (ATIB) visited the Azerbaijan Representative Office of the Association's member company, “Borusan Makina ve Güç Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.”

The meeting, held at the company’s office, was attended by Country Director Nihat Berk Öztürk, ATIB Chairman of the Board Mursel Rustemov, Deputy Chairman of the Board Tahsin Gundem, Board Members Erdem Ercin, Seymur Bunyatov, Muhterem Oz, Araz Ismayilov, and representatives of the Secretariat.

ATIB Chairman Mursel Rustemov first expressed his appreciation for the company’s active cooperation with the Association over the years, and its financial and organizational support for ATIB’s initiatives in relevant areas. He also emphasized the importance of the company’s contributions to the revival of Azerbaijan’s economy and industrial development since 1998 and noted his particular satisfaction with Borusan being a member of ATIB.

During the meeting, Nihat Berk Öztürk highlighted that Borusan Holding operates in 11 countries across 3 continents with nearly 14,000 employees and holds leading positions in six different sectors. He underlined that Borusan Cat, represented in Azerbaijan for 28 years, is also the sole representative of Caterpillar in Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Öztürk expressed pride that Borusan Cat equipment is now also involved in the reconstruction of the territories liberated from occupation.

The meeting continued with an exchange of views on future priorities and potential areas for joint cooperation.
