On September 24, 2025, a delegation from the Pazar Chamber of Industry and Commerce (PTSO) of Türkiye visited the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Businessmen’s Union (ATIB).
The meeting was attended by ATIB Chairman Mürsəl Rüstəmov, Board Members Rafiq Qarayev and Seymur Bünyatov, Secretary General Mehriban Asadli, PTSO Chairman Nevzat Bayraktutan, and businessmen Recep Çelik and Ahmet Yaşar Kanberoğlu.
Mürsəl Rüstəmov welcomed the delegation and gave an overview of ATIB's activities, highlighting the Union’s role in fostering cooperation with Turkish businesspeople and in building strong ties between them and local enterprises.
Nevzat Bayraktutan noted that the Pazar Chamber of Industry and Commerce was established in 1991 to enhance cooperation and awareness among its members. He emphasized the Chamber’s efforts to support members’ access to international markets and contribute to the socio-economic development of the Pazar region.
Following introductions, the participants exchanged views on investment opportunities in the industrial sectors of both countries, current and planned projects in the liberated Karabakh economic zone—particularly in Aghdam Industrial Park and the “Araz Valley Economic Zone” Industrial Park—as well as the incentives available for foreign investors and other mutual interests.
At the end of the meeting, a “Brother Chamber Protocol” was signed between the Pazar Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Businessmen’s Union. This significant collaboration aims to strengthen mutual relations, and enhance the quality and efficiency of joint activities and future projects by sharing information and expertise.
