On October 14, 2025, a delegation led by Ilkin Aliyev, a member of the Board of the Azerbaijan‑Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB), visited the Caspian region’s leading construction industry event — the 30th Anniversary Caspian Construction Week — at Baku Expo Center.
The event, running from October 14–16, includes several international exhibitions: the 30th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition “BakuBuild,” the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Development Exhibition of Karabakh “Rebuild Karabakh,” the 17th International Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water Supply, Plumbing and Swimming Pool Exhibition “Aquatem Baku,” the 4th Caspian International Plastic and Polymer Industry Exhibition “Plastex Caspian,” and the 13th Caspian International Road Infrastructure & Public Transport Exhibition “Road & Traffic.
The ATIB delegation first toured the exhibition pavilions, visiting the booths of ATIB member companies participating in “Rebuild Karabakh,” including “AS İnşaat,” “Borusan CAT Azerbaijan,” and “Inprocon.” They reviewed the displayed products and extended their best wishes to the participants.
As part of the exhibition, the delegation also attended a conference titled “Smart and Green Solutions for Sustainable Development,” organized by “AS Group.” During the conference, Şahin Mövsümov — founder of “AS Group Investment” LLC — Cavid Abdullayev — Director of the State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan — and Andrey Asadov, a corresponding member of the International Academy of Architecture, shared their views on the initiatives launched by Azerbaijan within the framework of COP29, including “green energy zones” and “green corridors,” the sustainable solutions implemented in Karabakh, and the potential for studying and applying internationally proven practices.
Subsequently, Rəşad Mehdiyev, Deputy Director of “AS İnşaat” LLC, gave a presentation about the “Agalı – Smart Village” project implemented in the Zangilan district. The conference continued with panel discussions.
