A festive event dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey was held at the Evrika International Science and Technology Lyceum, a member institution of the Azerbaijan–Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB).

On October 28, 2025, a festive event dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey was held at the Evrika International Science and Technology Lyceum, a member institution of the Azerbaijan–Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB).

 

Members of Parliament Ceyhun Mammadov and Jalə Aliyeva, ATIB Chairman of the Board Mursal Rustamov, Board Member Seymur Bunyatov, ATIB members Eyyub Javanşir and Aqşin Huseynov, MUSIAD Azerbaijan Chairman of the Board Rashad Cabirli, representatives of the Union of International Democrats Hasan Cengiz, Aynur Kumcu and Afife Asgarova Kazancı, TUİB Board Member Yılmaz Nalkıran, representatives of the Youth Assistance Fund Qoshqar Abbasov and Elnur Hajiyev, as well as the school’s teaching staff and parents attended the event.

 

In their opening speeches, Evrika Lyceum Director Ofelya Muradova, Head of the Turkish Division Nazan Akkoyun, and Branch Director Elvin Badirov spoke about the importance of the day in the history of Turkish statehood and highlighted the Lyceum’s efforts to instill patriotism and the spirit of Turkism in its students.

 

Member of Parliament Jalə Aliyeva noted that the slogans voiced years ago by the two great leaders of the Turkic world—Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and Heydar Aliyev—have today turned into a principle of brotherhood for our peoples, and wished success to the youth of today, the future builders of the Turkic world, on this sacred path.

 

Emphasizing that the future of every country directly depends on the level of its education, Member of Parliament Ceyhun Mammadov stressed that educational institutions must also make efforts to instill moral values in children and young people.

 

ATIB Chairman of the Board Mursal Rustamov stated that the continued implementation of such initiatives makes an important contribution to shaping youth in the spirit of Turkism, and he wished success to the Lyceum in its work.

 

MUSIAD Chairman of the Board Rashad Cabirli emphasized that commemorating significant historical events in schools plays an important role in promoting cultural heritage among young people and strengthening historical memory.

 

In the artistic part of the event, students of the Lyceum performed songs and dance compositions.
