A festive event dedicated to the fifth anniversary of Victory Day was held at the Evrika International Science and Technology Lyceum, a member of the Azerbaijan–Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB).

On November 6, 2025, a festive event dedicated to the fifth anniversary of Victory Day was held at the Evrika International Science and Technology Lyceum, a member of the Azerbaijan–Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB).

The event was attended by ATIB Board Member Rafiq Garayev, Association member Aqshin Huseynov, retired Major General Sakhavat Salmanov, Patriotic War veteran Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Orujaliyev, Professor Himmet Karadal of Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University, veterans, as well as the lyceum’s teaching staff and parents.

Delivering the opening speech, Elvin Badirov, Branch Director of the Lyceum, stated that the glorious Victory, whose fifth anniversary is being celebrated, is a triumph of the unity, unwavering will, and national pride of the Azerbaijani people.

Expressing gratitude to the students, teachers, and all participants who actively contributed to organizing the event, Rafiq Garayev emphasized that such initiatives play an important role in instilling a sense of statehood and responsibility in children and adolescents.

In his speech, Sakhavat Salmanov noted that the magnificent Victory marked the beginning of a new stage in the modern history of the Azerbaijani people and symbolizes national self-awareness and the will for freedom, underscoring its importance for strengthening the state and further consolidating national unity.

Pointing out that patriotism is one of the main pillars of the moral development of the younger generation, Ibrahim Orujaliyev described instilling these values in children from an early age as the most valuable investment in the country’s future.

In his remarks, Himmet Karadal stated that this victory made a significant contribution to strengthening Azerbaijan’s position on the international stage and ensuring peace and stability in the region.

The artistic part of the event featured song and dance performances by the lyceum’s students.
