“Business and Science” Forum Held at Khazar University (February 27, 2025)

On February 27, 2025, Khazar University hosted the “Business and Science: The First Forum on the Application of Academic Knowledge in Industry and Innovation.” The forum was organized to strengthen university-industry collaboration, promote innovation, and support the professional development of young specialists.

Speakers at the forum included Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University; Zalbay Agadadashov, Board Member of ATIB; Vugar Zeynalov, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation; Huseyin Buyukfirat, Chairman of TUİB; Rashad Jabirli, Chairman of MUSIAD; and Suleyman Majidli, Director of ENERGAZER LLC. They discussed key topics such as business innovations, university-industry collaboration, the startup ecosystem, and new research opportunities.

Forum participants reached a consensus on the importance of establishing a sustainable platform to enhance academic and industrial cooperation. Future steps include the implementation of joint research projects, the establishment of business incubation centers in universities, and increasing the integration of industry representatives into academic environments.
