International Forum “From Classroom to Business” Held at UNEC

On May 29, 2024, the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), in cooperation with the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan, organized the First International Forum of Universities and Employers titled “From Classroom to Business: Education, Practice, and Career,” dedicated to UNEC’s 95th anniversary.
The forum aimed to promote stronger university-employer collaboration, enhance student internship and career opportunities, and support the development of academic programs aligned with labor market needs.
Among the speakers was Mursel Rustemov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB). He emphasized ATIB’s bridge-building role between education and business sectors, and its long-standing contributions to Azerbaijan–Turkey economic cooperation.
Founded in 1994, ATIB’s participation reinforced its continued support for entrepreneurship and youth development. The event proceeded with panel discussions.
