Official Ceremony Held at Baku Turkish Anatolian High School on the Occasion of May 19 – Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day

On May 19, 2024, Baku Turkish Anatolian High School hosted an official ceremony on the occasion of the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day – one of the key national holidays of the Republic of Turkey. The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, H.E. Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, Head of the Representation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Azerbaijan, Mr. Ufuk Turqaner, staff members of the Turkish Embassy, Turkish entrepreneurs operating in Azerbaijan, representatives of academic and public institutions, as well as a delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB), Mr. Mursel Rustamov.

As part of the program, students of the school presented musical and dance performances. The event served as another strong symbol of the brotherly ties between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the fields of education and culture.
