On April 11, the 3rd National Education Summit on the theme “Digital Transformations in Education” was held at Baku Slavic University

On April 11, the 3rd National Education Summit on the theme “Digital Transformations in Education” was held at Baku Slavic University. The summit was organized by the Education Society of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the support of the Azerbaijan Education Workers Trade Union and Özyeğin University.

The event brought together government officials, members of parliament, representatives of the private sector, as well as the Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan-Turkiye Business Association(ATIB), Mursel Rustamov.

Among the speakers were the Chairman of the Board of the Education Society of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Murad Agalarov; Member of Parliament Ceyhun Mammadov; Deputy Chairman of the Education Workers Trade Union, Mirza Jafarzade; Deputy Directors of the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Fuad Garayev and Ilham Javadov; Director of the Learning and Teaching Office at Özyeğin University, Prof. Cengiz Hakan Aydin; Head of the Economic Education Department of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, Javid Suleymanli; and Founding Director of Code Academy, Ulvi Aslanov. They shared their views on the role of educational reforms and digital transformation in the development of society. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing young people's digital skills, preparing teachers for emerging technologies, and the strategic importance of integrating artificial intelligence into education for the country’s socio-economic development.

During the artistic segment of the event, the dance group of Child Development Center No. 2 performed a series of dance routines that combined national and modern elements, adding a special atmosphere to the summit.

At the conclusion of the event, certificates were presented to the participants of the 3rd National Education Summit.
