On April 28, the State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population organized a conference entitled "Managing Psychosocial Risks in the Workplace: Modern Approaches and Solutions" to mark the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

On April 28, the State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population organized a conference entitled "Managing Psychosocial Risks in the Workplace: Modern Approaches and Solutions" to mark the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

The event brought together members of parliament, representatives of government institutions, as well as Mürsəl Rüstəmov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Business Association (ATIB), and Mehriban Asadli, Head of the ATIB Secretariat.

In their speeches, Zaur Əliyev, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population, Vəli Quliyev, Head of the State Labour Inspectorate Service, Azər Bayramov, Director General of the Labour Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Elşad Musayev, Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Labour and Social Policy, Orxan Məmmədov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), Qəzənfər Abdullayev, Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, Yaşar Həmzəyev, ILO National Coordinator for Azerbaijan, and Fatih Bilal Alodalı, Labour and Social Security Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Azerbaijan, highlighted the importance of promoting healthy and safe working environments, adopting international best practices, and strengthening social partnership.

As part of the conference, a video showcasing achievements in the field of occupational safety and health was presented. Employers who actively participated in the "DOST Inspector" project, organizations that demonstrated exemplary occupational safety practices, and participants who made significant contributions to the effective implementation of ESG and social sustainability principles were honored with awards.

The conference continued with a performance by the musical ensemble of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center and concluded with a panel discussion on "The Impact of Psychosocial Risks on the Work Environment."
