On August 11, a delegation of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye Business Association (ATIB) visited the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Azerbaijan.

As part of the visit, separate meetings were held with Türkiye’s Agricultural Counsellor in Azerbaijan Yener Yıldırım, Commercial Chief Counsellors Murat Yaman and Nevzat Bozkurt, and Labour and Social Security Counsellor Prof. Dr. Fatih Bilal Alodalı.

The meetings were attended by ATIB Chairman of the Board Mursel Rustamov, Deputy Chairman of the Board Tahsin Gündem, Board Member Nigar Alasgarova, and representatives of the Secretariat.

During the meeting with Agricultural Counsellor Yener Yıldırım, the parties exchanged views on existing and prospective cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural sector. The Counsellor was also briefed on the 3rd International Agribusiness Forum, scheduled to be held in October, and opportunities for joint activities were assessed.

The meetings with Commercial Chief Counsellors Nevzat Bozkurt and Murat Yaman focused on the current state of trade relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye and ways to expand bilateral trade opportunities.

During the meeting with Labour and Social Security Counsellor Prof. Dr. M. Fatih Bilal Alodalı, issues related to labour and social protection, mutual exchange of experience, and prospects for cooperation were discussed.

The meetings emphasized the importance of further developing relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the respective fields, creating new cooperation opportunities for entrepreneurs, and implementing joint initiatives.
