On February 14, 2025, the "Turkish Investment Fund and TCCI: Information Session and B2B for Business Leaders" took place in Baku.
The event was organized under the initiative of the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TCCI) and the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, with the Azerbaijan International Bank as the main sponsor. The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, MP Tahir Mirkişili, representatives from state and non-governmental organizations, entrepreneurs, and the Azerbaijani-Turkish Businessmen Association delegation led by Mursel Rustamov.
During the opening ceremony, speeches were made by Elnur Aliyev, First Deputy Minister of Economy, Kubanichbek Omuraliyev, Secretary-General of the Turkic States Organization, Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Honorary President of TCCI and President of TOBB, Bağdat Amreyev, President of the Turkish Investment Fund, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency for Small and Medium Business Development (SME), Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO), Mammad Musayev, President of TCCI and ASK, Murat Kerimsakov, Chairman of the “ATAMEKEN” International Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan, Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Avazbek Kerimbayev, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan, Turgay Deniz, President of the Northern Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce, and Qabor Kiss, Advisor to the President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who all discussed the economic relations, cooperation projects, and perspectives to increase mutual trade turnover of the Turkic world.
The event also included the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Turkish Investment Fund and TCCI. The document was signed by Mammad Musayev, President of TCCI and ASK, and Bağdat Amreyev, President of the Turkish Investment Fund. The memorandum outlined frameworks for cooperation and specific directions.
