On November 6, 2025, on the initiative of the Karabakh Revival Fund (QDF), a meeting with donors and partners was held to mark the fifth anniversary of Victory Day under the theme “Victorious Azerbaijan: From Victory to the Summit in Five Years.”
The event, organized within the framework of the “KarabakhTalks” discussion platform by the Karabakh Revival Fund, was attended by deputies of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, state and government officials, family members of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, veterans, donors and partners of the Fund, as well as representatives of the public and the media, including ATIB Board Chairman Mursal Rustamov.
Delivering the opening speech, QDF Chairman Rahman Hajiyev stated that Victory Day is a manifestation of the unity and national spirit of the Azerbaijani people, and that the restoration and reconstruction works carried out in Karabakh have become a real indicator of this unity.
Rector of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and member of the Supervisory Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Adalat Muradov, emphasized in his speech that the liberation of Karabakh is one of the greatest historical achievements of the Turkic world in recent centuries and a bright celebration of pan-Turkic unity.
Speakers at the event, including Milli Majlis deputy Jeyhun Mammadov, Acting Chairman of the Board of the Education Development Fund Ilgar Bayramli, Deputy Chairman of the Bar Association Shahmar Mammadov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Mine Victims Association Rey Karimoglu, President of the International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev, National Hero and wife of martyred Major General Polad Hashimov Ofeliya Salmanova, wife of martyred Lieutenant Colonel Raquf Orucov and Head of the “Victory” Public Union for Support to Martyrs’ Families Sevinc Orucova, war participant Alik Yusifov, and other speakers highlighted the significant moral and political importance of Victory Day for the Azerbaijani people and noted that this victory opened an important new chapter in the development of the state.
Afterwards, participants visited the photo exhibition titled “The Revival of Karabakh: The Story of the Azerbaijani Renaissance,” showcasing the reconstruction and development works carried out in the liberated territories.
