On May 30, 2025, the 6th Elective General Assembly of the “Public Union of Turkish and Azerbaijani Businessmen and Industrialists” (TÜİB) was held. The meeting featured a presentation on TÜİB’s ongoing projects and its strategic directions.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, Elnur Aliyev, First Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mahmut Gürcan, Deputy Minister of Trade of Turkey, Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of AZPROMO, as well as TÜİB members, state officials and the public.
Also present were ATIB Chairman Mursal Rustamov and Secretary General Gulnar Shirinova, who emphasized the importance of business unions in the development of economic ties between the two countries.
Following the official speeches, the 6th Elective General Assembly was launched, and the election of the new Board of TÜİB was conducted.
