The delegation of the Azerbaijan‑Turkey Businessmen’s Association (ATİB) hosted Chairman of the Board of the Education Development Fund (TİF) Elnur Nasibov and Director of the Project Management Department Rasul Hasimov.

On September 4, 2025, the delegation of the Azerbaijan‑Turkey Businessmen’s Association (ATİB) hosted Chairman of the Board of the Education Development Fund (TİF) Elnur Nasibov and Director of the Project Management Department Rasul Hasimov.

 

The meeting was attended by Mürsəl Rüstəmov, Chairman of the ATİB Board, Board members Rafiq Qarayev and Nigar Alasgarova, Director of Public Relations and Communications at Coca‑Cola Azerbaijan Türkan Manaflı, and Secretary General Mehriban Asadli.

 

Eylur Nasibov opened the session by presenting an overview of the TİF’s scope of work, noting their special focus on public–private partnerships. He stated that the Fund supports programs and projects aimed at developing the education system through scholarships, internships, sustainable development centres, student social support, and other initiatives implemented together with local and international organizations. He also noted that under relevant collaborations, construction of seven school buildings had been initiated and planning is underway for the next phase, which will focus on improving student dormitory infrastructure.

 

Mursal Rustamov outlined ATİB’s founding objectives and its current activities, affirming that besides economic advancement, the Union makes the social‑cultural development of the two countries a priority. He emphasised the willingness of the Association to work closely with both state and civil society institutions, and expressed confidence that the cooperation with TİF will be highly productive.

 

The discussion further covered issues such as aligning workforce training with labour‑market demands, necessary actions to prepare professional specialists for the country’s future development, and other relevant matters.

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties, reaching consensus on the importance of public–private partnership in this field, agreed to proceed with signing a Memorandum of Cooperation.
