On October 18, 2025, the next business breakfast of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Business Association (ATIB) was held.
The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, Prof. Dr. Birol Akgun, Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Associations and Religious Organizations and MP Ceyhun Mammadov, Secretary of the Turkish Embassy Fatih Kara, representatives of relevant departments of the embassy, entrepreneurs, and ATIB members.
Opening the event, ATIB Board Chairman Mursel Rustamov spoke about the initiatives aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation among the association's members. He emphasized that the participation of state and public figures in such events contributes to encouraging entrepreneurial activity and improving the business environment, and expressed gratitude to the Turkish Embassy and MP Ceyhun Mammadov for their support.
Ambassador Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, MP Ceyhun Mammadov, and ATIB Board Member Rufat Aliyev highlighted the importance of supporting entrepreneurs in deepening bilateral relations and strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
Major of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, participant of the Second Karabakh War, and National Hero Zaur Huseynov recalled the many sacrifices made for the independence and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. In his speech, he called on entrepreneurs to engage in innovative and nationally beneficial activities to preserve these values and ensure the welfare of the country entrusted to us.
Later, ATIB members – Director of Sirab Sales and Distribution LLC Mehmet Alper Yaycılı, Project Manager of Karabakh Agro 44 LLC Erestun Garayev, Founder of Mentor Pro LLC Shahla Ibrahimova, and Director of Pancho Azerbaijan LLC Miraziz Mansimov – delivered presentations on their companies’ activities and new projects.
Membership plaques were presented to the members who made presentations.
At the end of the official part of the event, a commemorative gift was presented to Ambassador Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün as a token of appreciation for his continuous support of ATIB’s activities.
