On March 4, 2026, the presentation of the next phase of the implementation of the TəhsilPlus card, developed through joint cooperation between the Education Development Fund, Kapital Bank, and Mastercard, was held.
The event was attended by heads of state institutions, representatives of partner organizations, media representatives, business associations, including Mursal Rustamov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen Union.
In his opening speech, Nicat Mammadli, Chairman of the Board of the Education Development Fund, stated that the Fund’s activities are built on the principles of expanding public-private partnerships, promoting innovative projects, and ensuring sustainable support for educational institutions. He emphasized that the launch of the TəhsilPlus card, following the StudentPlus card, is a continuation of this strategy and provides a unified, multifunctional solution for education workers.
Deputy Minister of Science and Education, Kenan Karimzade, noted that the TəhsilPlus project will bring together hundreds of thousands of education workers across the country on a unified multifunctional platform, expanding their social support opportunities and offering additional benefits and privileges.
Farid Hidayatzade, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Corporate Sales Officer of Kapital Bank, stated that the TəhsilPlus card is a multifunctional solution created within the framework of public-private partnership, providing benefits and bonuses to thousands of education workers.
Engin Yasar, Vice President for Business Development at Mastercard, highlighted that the TəhsilPlus card is a clear example of how digital technologies empower education workers with secure, multifunctional, and future-oriented solutions, creating real and sustainable impact.
Following the official speeches, a promotional video of the TəhsilPlus card was presented.
Afterwards, a detailed presentation was delivered on the implementation mechanism and functional capabilities of the TəhsilPlus card.
Within the framework of the event, cooperation agreements were signed between the Education Development Fund and the State Agency for Preschool and General Education, the State Agency for Vocational Education, and the State Agency for Science and Higher Education.
